UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) will launch a funding opportunity for a Climate Change Adaptation hub shortly. This funding opportunity is part of the Maximising UK adaptation to climate change programme.
The hub will aim to provide evidence around how to increase the resilience of people, ecosystems and infrastructure in the UK to cascading climate impacts. The hub will convene a transdisciplinary team of academics, policymakers, external practitioners and other relevant stakeholders to support the UK in achieving a climate change adaptation plan that provides both local and national solutions.
This webinar will cover:
- an overview of the funding opportunity
- what UKRI and Defra are looking for in applications
- the application and assessment process including applying through the UKRI Funding Service
- time for questions and answers
