Over the last 24 months the Medical Research Council (MRC) has progressed initial steps towards a net zero target finding good practice in many areas, including:

  • higher education
  • business
  • government departments.

We are aiming for an interesting discussion with estates professionals in the higher education and life sciences sector.

The seminar is structured to look at challenges and solutions.

Main focus

Our speakers will focus mainly on:

  • what the future research estate must be capable of and what the constraints are
  • what net zero buildings are and how they can be achieved.

This will be followed by a question and answer session.

Following the close of the meeting, participants are invited to join for lunch and networking.
