A new survey will consult the research community on current veterinary vaccinology research and innovation needs, as well as the future perspectives.

The survey is launched by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) on behalf of veterinary vaccinology research funders and programme owners.

The research community being consulted includes:

  • academics
  • funders
  • industry
  • other researchers.

We also welcome institutional responses.

The overall purpose of the consultation is to gain a better understanding of the gaps, barriers and priorities in the research and innovation of veterinary vaccines globally.

Future veterinary vaccinology strategy

This consultation will help inform future veterinary vaccinology strategy.

The survey report will be published on the UKRI website. The report will be made available to other research funders for further dissemination.

This survey comprises 47 questions, but you will not be required to answer all the questions.

It will take approximately 30 minutes to complete the survey.

To complete the survey, please see: SurveyMonkey: Veterinary Vaccinology Landscape Survey. This survey will remain open until 19 July.

We thank you in advance for your input.

All information submitted to BBSRC will be treated in confidence. Non-attributable comments from the survey comments may be used in subsequent activities, for example included in internal and external publications on this topic.
