In the run-up to the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), we asked our researchers to tell us about their work and the challenges of tackling climate change.

Dr Emma Fieldhouse is the Director of Future We Want which is a sustainability engagement company, and Emma also won a ‘Women in Innovation’ award in 2020.

Emma’s work is to educate people on the climate crisis, using climate change games to help people see their own carbon footprints, and to understand that everything has an impact.

The climate crisis is going to need every single solution on the planet in order to avert disaster. I do think people are sick of hearing about disaster though and that’s the reason we use games to try and educate people about the climate crisis.
