Attend the Climate Exp0 conference: 17 to 21 May 2021

UKRI is sponsoring Climate Exp0, a virtual conference organised by the COP26 Universities Network.

Climate Exp0 takes place 17 to 21 May 2021, six months before the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26). The event is free and open to all.

Climate Exp0 features a range of speakers focusing on five key themes:

  • adaptation and resilience
  • finance
  • green recovery
  • mitigation solutions
  • nature-based solutions.

The conference gives policy, academic and student audiences the opportunity to connect, collaborate and help deliver a zero-carbon world.

The aims of the event are to:

  • raise the profile of key strategic themes and issues
  • provide evidence to constituted bodies and policymakers
  • engage countries in building up their activity to COP26
  • create a legacy of universities and research centres in support of the climate change research agenda and of the UK’s role as host for COP26.
