UKRI North America
The North America office works on behalf of all UKRI to identify and facilitate new research collaborations across the breadth of the UK’s research base. UKRI works primarily with US and Canadian federal funders and endowments to promote dialogue between our communities and create an environment that fosters collaboration.
The UKRI North America team is situated in the British Embassy in Washington DC. The team works closely with the UK Science and Innovation Network (SIN), including consulate based teams and others such as the UK Department for International Trade (DIT) and the British Council to align activities and present a coordinated picture of UK research resources and expertise in both the United States and Canada.
