You can apply to make your organisation eligible for UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) funding if you are not already listed.
Eligibility is open to these organisations, primarily located in the UK:
- research institutes
- independent research organisations
- public sector research establishments
- Catapult centres
When applying for eligibility, you should aim to do so early to give time for checks. You will need to do this before you can apply to a funding programme accepting applications from your type of organisation.
Eligibility applications are considered by the nominated council as well as UKRI’s funding assurance team. It looks at an application against the criteria set out in the eligibility for research council funding.
To be eligible you need to complete two forms:
- an application for eligibility for UKRI funding
- self-assessment for project funding under full economic costs
There is no deadline and you can apply at any time.
