Updated cost conversion tool for guarantee grants with the addition of the new exchange rate. For collaborative guarantee grants, the new rate will only apply for grant agreements signed by the Commission from 1 January 2023 until 31 December 2023. Where no EU grant agreement will be signed, the revised exchange rate will apply for new guarantee applications to UKRI from 1 January 2023.. - 14 December 2022

The currency conversion tools for the ERC Starting, Consolidator and Advanced grants have been updated. They no longer ask for the overall project duration, and now ask for the total months of PhD student time requested on the project, in order to correctly calculate the monthly stipend. Monthly stipend costs only apply for grants that include project student costs. - 31 May 2022
We will not be removing costs of project students from the ERC Starting, Consolidator and Advanced guarantee grants and funding PhD students through separate training grants.
