Phase one (£3 million): transdisciplinary networks.

Phase two (£7 million): transdisciplinary research grants to facilitate evidence-based decision making.

You must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for UK Research and Innovation funding.

Pre-announcement: ESRC responsive mode new investigator round one

This funding opportunity funds new researchers at the start of their careers to support them to become independent researchers through gaining experience of managing and leading research projects and teams.

From May 2023, eligibility remains the same, but you will apply via the UKRI Funding Service. This is a pre-announcement and information may change.
