Your organisation will need to submit a final expenditure statement within three months of a funded project ending. There is a set process.
- A statement will become available in the Joint Electronic Submission (Je-S) system from the end date of your grant.
- An email will be sent to the finance functional account you provided in your application, asking for the statement to be completed and giving the deadline for doing so.
- If you do not submit a final expenditure statement, we may take action to recover our funds from your organisation. This could be 20% of the grant if not submitted within three months, or the whole grant if nothing is submitted within six months.
- You may also be required to submit interim expenditure statements. For example, some councils ask for these if a grant award is for 42 months or more. This will be outlined in the specific terms and conditions of the funding award.
Check the Je-S handbook section on expenditure statements for full details on how to complete and submit your statement.
