Gender pay gap

Innovate UK’s gender pay gap.

Innovate UK’s latest gender pay gap (GPG) information was published today.

We recognise that a GPG of 25.5% is not what we want to see, and it has dedicated leadership attention.

Our GPG challenge wasn’t created overnight and it won’t be fixed overnight, but we have been and will be taking determined actions to improve.

We have initiated improvements to our:

  • recruitment process
  • internal progression opportunities
  • flexible working.

We are fully committed to developing our diverse talent and improving workplace flexibility for everyone.

Improve through actions

We intend to improve through these actions and to be open about the journey we are going on.

This is a journey for us and for many other organisations.

We are learning, improving, and committed to driving this change.

We are also open to advice, ideas and sharing our learning.

Gender pay gap data sets out the difference in average pay of all women compared to all men within the organisation, regardless of the level or type of work carried out. It is not about equal pay.
