Overview of MRC review process - MRC

Peer review is the cornerstone of the work of the Medical Research Council (MRC) as it identifies the grants and fellowships to fund. Proposals for funding are taken through an assessment process described below.

Peer review for centres, units and institutes follows the same principles but has a slightly different process. Find out about institutes, units and centres.

All researchers supported by MRC are expected to participate in peer review.
