Check if your research is within MRC’s remit
Before you apply you can contact us to ask if your research in within our remit. It’s a good idea to do this if your research is interdisciplinary or not clearly within MRC’s research areas.
The research councils have a Cross-Council Remit Agreement for considering applications at the boundaries of their remits.
You might also want to consider how your research contributes to MRC’s research portfolio and priorities.
