This webinar is dedicated to small, specialist institutions in the arts and humanities. We invite you to come and learn more about the new Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) doctoral focal awards funding opportunity and consider applying.

This webinar will include:

  • an overview of the new opportunity including scheme characteristics
  • its objectives
  • eligibility to apply
  • application and assessment process
  • key dates

There will be a dedicated question and answer (Q&A) session at the end.

We invite you to send us questions in advance to researcher.development@ahrc.ukri.org or to ask them using the Q&A function during the event.

Anyone from a small, specialist institution interested in the funding opportunity is welcome to attend. The webinar is open to potential applicants and institutional representatives, for example, staff who work in research offices, as well as non-academic partners involved in applications.

AHRC will collect the names, email addresses and organisations of attendees. We will circulate the list to all the attendees to catalyse new partnerships. When registering you can select to consent for your name, email address and organisation name to be shared with everyone else who attended the webinar.

The list will be shared no later than on 4 March 2024, if you would like to withdraw your consent this can be done up until the close of business on 1 March 2024 by emailing researcher.development@ahrc.ukri.org

Please note individuals can also attend the webinar without opting into the sharing of their contact details.

The webinar will be recorded, and the recording will be published for the benefit of audience members unable to watch it live.
