With the UK’s ambition to ramp up our nuclear capacity, EPSRC needs assistance from the community to help shape the research priorities moving forward to assist this transition to a higher output.

The UK also wants to build on over 60 years of extensive experience of the full nuclear life cycle, from front-end design through to decommissioning.

This workshop will bring together experts from both academia and industry.

It will help provide EPSRC with strategic advice and research priorities for the nuclear fission research area that will help us shape our programmes in this area for the five years.

There will be a limited number of spaces available.

Applications will be assessed by EPSRC and a small steering group, and outcomes will be communicated in early April.
