UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) has today published its response to an open letter published by the University and College Union.
The correspondence discusses support for UKRI-funded doctoral students.
Update: an earlier version of the letter referred to the incoming correspondence as being from the Universities and Colleges Union (UCU). Although the letter was supported and published by UCU on its website, we recognise that the letter was organised by the wider academic community. We have amended the address, subject line and opening paragraph of the letter to better reflect that. We are happy to make the original version available on request to press@ukri.org.
