Funding opportunity: Global non-communicable disease prevention in cities

Apply for global health funding to prevent non-communicable diseases in cities through implementation research.

You must:

  • be based at a UK research organisation eligible for UK Research and Innovation funding
  • work in partnership with co-investigators based in low or middle income countries where the work will take place

Your research must:

  • have clear implications for reducing the onset or progression of non-communicable diseases in cities
  • have clear implications for reducing health inequalities

Up to £5,000,000 is available (subject to quality). We expect to fund several projects.

Your project must run for 3 to 5 years.

Before applying, you must complete a letter of intent by 15 March 2023.
