You can get funding to support predoctoral and postdoctoral research proposals across any area of MRC’s remit to improve human health. You can apply for a fellowship lasting between two and four years but they usually last for three. The funding will cover your salary and related expenses.

Between £50,000 and £250,000 is available for projects lasting six months to two years.

Between £50,000 and £300,000 is available for projects lasting six to eighteen months.

The European Southern Observatory fellowship programme is designed to help young scientists reach the next stage of their scientific career. You can apply for a postdoctoral fellowship in either Garching (Germany) or Santiago (Chile). You will receive a basic salary funded by ESO.
