AHRC responsive mode: standard research grant – round two

AHRC standard research grants support well-defined collaborative projects across the arts and humanities in areas covered by AHRC’s remit.

The full economic cost (FEC) of your project can be between £300,000 and £1.5 million. AHRC will fund 80% of the FEC.

The maximum duration of this award is five years.

AHRC Responsive Mode: Collaborate with Researchers in Luxembourg Round One

This opportunity funds work with researchers in Luxembourg. Collaborative work is governed by an agreement between UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and FNR.

You can submit collaborative research proposals in any area of arts and humanities within the remit of both AHRC and FNR.

This opportunity allows UK and US based researchers to submit a collaborative proposal that will go through a single review process.

You can submit a collaborative research proposal in any area of the arts and humanities within the remit of AHRC and NSF-SBE.

Synthesising research on evolving narratives of histories and cultures

Apply for funding to mobilise, examine and synthesise humanities and social sciences research on the topic of evolving narratives of cultures and histories.

You must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for AHRC funding.

AHRC Innovation Scholars secondments in design: second round

Apply for funding to develop your skills through a design secondment.

You must be:

  • able to carry out research at a postdoctoral level (or equivalent)
  • a resident in the UK

EPSRC equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) sharing hub

EPSRC plans to fund one network plus grant to provide leadership and support to share equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) good practices and ‘what works’ across the engineering, physical and mathematical sciences.

To lead the sharing hub, you must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for EPSRC funding.

UK-Germany bilateral: collaborative research and development round two

UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £4 million for projects resulting in innovative solutions for emerging technologies. You must collaborate with at least one German small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) applying under the equivalent German Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM) programme.
