UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships Renewal Meeting 11 (Invite only)

Future Leaders Fellowship (FLF) award holders have the opportunity to extend their four-year fellowship by up to a further three years. The renewal funding will continue to support the development of a fellow and further the fellow’s work to undertake adventurous, ambitious programmes that tackle difficult and novel challenges.

Synthesising research on envisioning governance systems that work

Apply for funding to work with Canada-based researchers to mobilise, examine and synthesise humanities and social sciences research on the topic of envisioning governance systems that work.

You must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for ESRC or AHRC funding.

Transforming global evidence: AI-driven evidence synthesis for policymaking

Apply for funding to develop and administer a global evidence synthesis infrastructure. This infrastructure will significantly increase capability in researcher and AI-driven evidence synthesis for policymaking.

Knowledge Transfer Partnership

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships help businesses to partner with an academic organisation, research organisation or a Catapult, to employ a graduate with the skills and knowledge that can help the business to innovate and grow.

Daphne Jackson fellowship

These fellowships are for those looking to return to a research career after a break. Fellowships combine a personalised retraining programme with a challenging research project. They are flexible, usually lasting two years at 0.5 full-time equivalent, although some UKRI funders may award longer.

UKRI-SBE lead agency opportunity

The UKRI-SBE lead agency opportunity allows UK and US-based researchers to submit a collaborative proposal that will go through a single review process. Grants are funded through existing funding programmes at the relevant lead agency.

Collaborate with researchers in Brazil

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and FAPESP’s lead agency agreement allows UKRI to assess joint applications from eligible UK and Brazil-based researchers from the state of São Paulo on behalf of both organisations.

UKRI and FAPESP will co-fund applications submitted to responsive mode funding opportunities via selected funding opportunities.

Collaborate with researchers in Norway

UKRI and RCN have signed a Money Follows Cooperation agreement to enable collaborative applications between researchers in the UK and Norway. UKRI funding will be provided for co-investigators from Norway in successful applications.

Conditions will differ depending on the funding opportunity.
