Senior clinical fellowship

Your research can focus on any area of MRC’s remit to improve human health.

You must:

  • be a registered healthcare professional
  • have a PhD or equivalent
  • have experience leading research funded by a major funder
  • be managing your own independent research group

Future Leaders Fellowships: round 9

Funding to support ambitious research and innovation across UK Research and Innovation (UKRI)’s remit. You must be an early career researcher or innovator who is either:

  • looking to establish or transition to independence
  • developing your own original and ambitious plans within a commercial setting

UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships renewal meeting 10 (Invite only)

Successful applicants to the Future Leaders Fellowships (FLF) can apply to extend their four-year fellowship by up to a further three years. Renewals will continue to support the development of a leading-edge fellow and further their work to undertake adventurous, ambitious programmes that tackle difficult and novel challenges.

Future Leaders Fellowships (FLF) grant holders have the opportunity to extend their four-year fellowship by up to a further three years. The renewal funding will continue to support the development of a fellow and further the fellow’s work to undertake adventurous, ambitious programmes that tackle difficult and novel challenges.

Future Leaders Fellowships: round 10

Apply for funding to support ambitious research and innovation across UK Research and Innovation (UKRI)’s remit. You must be an early career researcher or innovator who is either:

  • looking to establish or transition to independence
  • developing your own original and ambitious plans within a commercial setting

UKRI Metascience AI early career fellowships

The UK Metascience Unit will fund a cohort of early career fellows to build our understanding of how the growing adoption of AI is changing the research landscape, including what epistemic, metascientific, ethical and socioeconomic questions this raises, and how governments, industry, and funding organisations should respond.

This opportunity is for established researchers from across UKRI remit, without a background in core AI research, who want to build domain relevant AI capability.

You must be hosted at a UK research organisation eligible for UKRI funding.
