AHRC responsive mode: follow-on funding for impact and engagement: round one

Follow-on funding is awarded to cover unforeseen knowledge exchange, public engagement, active dissemination and commercialisation activities that arise during or after an AHRC-funded project.

Grants of up to £100,000 are available with smaller grants of up to £30,000 for higher-risk activities.

ESRC responsive mode: secondary data analysis round one

  • be aimed primarily at STFC-funded PhD students
  • cover core research activity supported by the STFC studentships programme

Canada-UK: biomanufacturing of biologics and advanced therapies

UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £3.5 million. You will collaborate with Canadian micro, small or medium-sized enterprises (SME) on joint research and development projects, for enabling technologies and innovations in biomanufacturing of biologics and advanced therapies.

Knowledge Asset Grant Fund: extend, autumn 2023

Eligible UK public sector organisations can apply for up to £250,000 from the Knowledge Asset Grant Fund in this strand. The funding will aid exploitation of intangible assets that have a broader application or client base than their owner organisation.

SBRI FOAK 2023: optimised train operations rail demonstrations

Organisations can apply for a share of £5.3 million, inclusive of VAT, across three themes, to develop a prototype and undertake field testing for up to 12 months. The focus for First of a Kind (FOAK) 2023 is cost efficiency and increasing value for money.

Integrating finance and biodiversity for a nature positive future

Apply for up to £3 million to establish an interdisciplinary research and innovation network, including a strategic coordination hub and associated partnerships or spokes. This will bring together academic, finance and communities to catalyse the integration of biodiversity into financial decision-making.
