Funding opportunity: SBRI: skin cancer detection using artificial intelligence

Organisations can apply for a share of £500,000 inclusive of VAT, over the two phases of the funding opportunity. The aim of this funding opportunity is to improve existing artificial intelligence algorithms for skin cancer to accelerate detection and diagnosis.

This is a Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) funding opportunity funded by the Scottish Health Industry Partnership.

Eligibility summary

To lead a project, you can:

  • be an organisation
  • work alone or with others from business, academia research, and technology organisations or the third sector, as subcontractors

You must work in conjunction with the identified test bed partner and identified academic research partner.

Contracts will be awarded to a single legal entity only.
