Institution Engagement Manager
Rommany began her career in research management at Birmingham City University where she worked in REF, researcher development, and research funding-related roles. She later joined the University of Birmingham’s EU & International Research Funding team, working on pre-award Horizon 2020 and National Institutes of Health funding.
In 2019, Rommany joined AHRC’s International Partnerships and Engagement team where her portfolio included partnership development and programme delivery with overseas partners in China, Japan and India.
She has a degree in Classics and Italian from Durham University and a PhD in Italian Studies from University of Birmingham.
