Details

To create a low carbon economy, Clas-Sic has used silicon carbide (SiC) to develop compound semiconductor technology that enables smaller, lighter and more energy-efficient power systems.

This document explores Clas-Sic’s journey from a 1,200-volt (V) planar SiC metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors process and expanded it to include 1,700V and 3,300V capabilities.

Clas-Sic was funded by the Driving the Electric Revolution challenge and Innovate UK.
