Details

The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) is the largest UK investor in social science-led data infrastructure. A total investment of over £200 million over five years supports world-leading longitudinal and cross-sectional studies, vital enabling data services for research, and projects which obtain and curate big data. This investment must be guided by a strategic and holistic approach.

This engagement exercise invites input from our key stakeholders to help shape ESRC’s new data infrastructure strategy. The strategy will guide our investment in data infrastructure from 2022.

This is the website for UKRI: our seven research councils, Research England and Innovate UK. Let us know if you have feedback or would like to help improve our online products and services.
