Details

This report is the outcome of a one-year study commissioned by the Academy of Medical Sciences, the Medical Research Council (MRC) and the Wellcome Trust.

It compares the economic benefits accruing to the UK from publicly and charitably funded medical research in cardiovascular conditions and in mental health conditions with the cost of that research.

This is the website for UKRI: our seven research councils, Research England and Innovate UK. Let us know if you have feedback or would like to help improve our online products and services.
