Details

The gender pay gap report is an annual publication that sets out the percentage difference between the average hourly earning for males and females across the organisation. The gender pay gap is a measure across all jobs in UKRI, not of the difference in pay between males and females doing the same job.

Since the 2021 report, we have also published our ethnicity pay gaps. This details the difference in average pay of minority ethnic employees compared to the average pay of white British employees, regardless of the level or type of work carried out.

The report also includes details on the ongoing work and initiatives implemented to contribute to narrowing the pay gap.

This is the website for UKRI: our seven research councils, Research England and Innovate UK. Let us know if you have feedback or would like to help improve our online products and services.
