The KEF options survey includes a number of questions that relate to relatively complex scenarios around how we calculate the metrics and deciles.
Research England has prepared a supporting information document. This sets out the detailed information on the rationale for changing the underlying KEF methodology and the proposals put forward for an alternative methodology. We intend to use that methodology for the second iteration of the KEF.
This includes worked examples of how the proposed changes may impact the results for some exemplar providers.
We have also provided a PDF export of the survey questions for reference.
The KEF options survey closes on 28 April 2022.
