These documents provide guidance to applicants for MRC funding using Je-S or UKRI Funding Service. Those applying through Je-S should use the ‘Guidance for applicants using Je-S’ PDF, which includes details on:

  • eligibility
  • application process
  • facilities
  • resources and costs
  • proposals involving animal use
  • ethics and approvals

Those applying through UKRI Funding Service should use ‘Application and policy guide for the UKRI Funding Service’, ‘Guidance for applications involving animals’ and ‘Guidance on ethics and approvals’. ‘Application and policy guide for the UKRI Funding Service’ contains information on:

  • eligibility
  • application process
  • facilities
  • resources and costs

The other two guidance documents contain the relevant guidance on use of animals and on ethics and approval.
