This document reports the findings from research undertaken to explore the career choices of non-clinical medical researchers, specifically those who applied for or were awarded MRC funded post-graduate degrees, fellowships, grants, or programme leader track positions at MRC units and institutes, and are in the first 10 to 20 years following receipt of their MRC funded award.
