Fellowship focus

Two projects are planned during the fellowship.

The first aims to build institutional knowledge of the experience of DfT’s social and behavioural research team during the COVID-19 pandemic, to ensure that knowledge is recorded for future use. It is envisaged that conclusions and recommendations will feed into the DfT’s Pandemic Resilience Strategy.

The second is a research project on ongoing attitudes to COVID-19 risk and the impacts on public transport use and non-use. It comprises a literature review and secondary data analysis, with the possibility of commissioning the collection of primary, qualitative data.
