MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit

The Medical Research Council (MRC) Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit at the University of Dundee (MRC PPU) seeks to advance our understanding of the role of protein phosphorylation and ubiquitylation in cell regulation, with emphasis on research that furthers the understanding of human disease. Directed by Professor Dario Alessi the Unit aims to maximise translation of research outputs for clinical and economic benefit, in particular through generation of reagents and improved technologies that support pharmaceutical industry-driven development of drugs that modulate disease-associated phosphorylation and ubiquitylation pathways.
