Induction and reference guide

Thank you for agreeing to be a member of the NERC Peer Review College from January 2014.

NERC has provided an online induction course for you to complete before you are involved in any peer review activities this year as a new, returning or continuing college member.

For new members, this course aims to introduce you to the main activities you will be involved in and to explain what is expected of you. For ongoing or returning members, several details of policy and membership have changed recently. This course aims to refresh your knowledge of current policy in order that all members are aware of what is expected of them.

The training course should take you around 45 minutes to complete. It is not graded and there is no test element that you must pass. The course is composed of three modules, and each module should take you around 15 minutes to complete. You are free to leave the course at any point and you may return to complete it at a later date.

Please note that you will require a username and password to log on to the course. These will be sent to you by email.

The course is currently undergoing redevelopment. A link will be provided shortly.

If you have any comments, queries or questions about the induction materials, what is expected of you in your role as a PRC member or anything else NERC related, please contact the Peer Review College team.
