Get funding for projects to test approaches and develop strategies to improve the understanding, management and control of crop pests and diseases that present a significant threat to crop production in the UK.

You must:

  • be based at a UK institution eligible for funding (standard eligibility criteria applies)
  • include an industrial partner in your proposal.

Grant duration is three to six months.

Apply for funding to analyse the UK’s changing geopolitical landscape. Focus areas could include UK-EU relations, and the evolving security and economic environment.

ESRC expects to support between eight and 10 senior fellows through this opportunity.

Faraday battery challenge: round five feasibility studies

UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £25 million across two strands, for innovation in propulsion battery technologies for electric vehicles.

Farming, growing or forestry businesses based in England can apply for a share of up to £1 million for feasibility projects. This is an expression of interest competition.

You must:

  • be an eligible research organisation or independent research organisation
