AHRC Responsive Mode: UKRI NSF-SBE Lead Agency: Round Two

This funding opportunity allows UK and US based researchers to submit a collaborative proposal that will go through a single review process.

You can submit a collaborative research proposal in any area of the arts and humanities within the remit of Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and US National Science Foundation, Social, Behavioural and Economic Sciences Directorate (NSF-SBE).

Future Leaders Fellowships: round 9

Funding to support ambitious research and innovation across UK Research and Innovation (UKRI)’s remit. You must be an early career researcher or innovator who is either:

  • looking to establish or transition to independence
  • developing your own original and ambitious plans within a commercial setting

UKRI-Southeast Asia collaboration on infectious diseases

Apply for funding to support UK-Southeast Asia collaborations with partners in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, and Singapore on infectious diseases with antimicrobial resistance or epidemic potential. Multilateral research teams are encouraged.

Maximising UK adaptation to climate change research projects

Apply for funding for transdisciplinary research projects under the UKRI-Defra co-funded Maximising UK Adaptation to Climate Change programme to help improve the UK’s resilience to climate change impacts.

You must be based at an eligible UK research organisation to apply.

AHRC Community-led Heritage Research and Skills Hub

Apply to lead a community-driven heritage research and skills hub.

The hub will support delivery of community-led research projects across the UK, equipping heritage organisations and their communities with research and digital skills and establishing networks for further research collaboration.

AHRC responsive mode: follow-on funding for impact and engagement: round four

Follow-on funding is awarded to cover unforeseen knowledge exchange, public engagement, active dissemination and commercialisation activities that arise during or after an AHRC-funded project.

Grants of up to £100,000 are available, with smaller grants of up to £30,000 for higher-risk activities.

AHRC Responsive Mode: standard research grant – round four

Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) standard research grants support well-defined collaborative projects across the arts and humanities in areas covered by our remit.

You must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for AHRC funding.

Centre for Law and Social Justice: full stage

Apply to establish a Centre for Law and Social Justice that will:

  • deliver collaborative, interdisciplinary, challenge-led research
  • champion the arts and humanities
  • strengthen and diversify the research community

You must have been invited to submit a full application.

AHRC Cultural heritage research translated into climate change policy

Apply for DCMS funding to maximise the impact of UK arts and humanities research, and ensure it supports cultural heritage and cultural voices to play an essential role in climate planning for the future.

You must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for AHRC funding.

UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships renewal meeting 10 (Invite only)

Successful applicants to the Future Leaders Fellowship (FLF) can apply to extend their four-year fellowship by up to a further three years. Renewals will continue to support the development of a leading-edge fellow and further their work to undertake adventurous, ambitious programmes that tackle difficult and novel challenges.
