AHRC infrastructure policy and engagement fellowships

Apply for funding to undertake research and engagement in either:

  • the creative industries
  • heritage science and conservation research.

You must hold a PhD or have equivalent professional expertise. You must also have at least seven years’ experience in the relevant field.

Projects can last up to five months, taking place between March and July 2021.

The Catalyst Awards are part of the UKRI Healthy Ageing Challenge and delivered in partnership with Zinc.

Global Partnerships Seedcorn Fund 2021

Apply for support to develop new long-term partnerships with international researchers.

Your partnership can be in any research area from across NERC’s remit and must have the potential to become self-sustaining.

You and your organisation must be eligible for NERC funding and you must not hold another active Global Partnerships Seedcorn Fund grant, as a principal investigator or co-investigator, at the closing date for this grant.

Webb Fellowship using the James Webb Space Telescope

Apply for a fellowship to:

  • do your own research programme using the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST)
  • enhance community use of the JWST, and increase its impact.

You must have a PhD in astronomy, astrophysics, physics or similar.

Apply for funding to support interdisciplinary research aiming to transform the UK food system for healthy people and a healthy environment.

Your project can be led by an eligible UK-based researcher in any discipline and must collaborate with at least one stakeholder organisation.
