Professor Todd Landman

Todd Landman is Senior Independent Member and the Chair of the Economic and Social Research Council’s (ESRC) Council.

He is also a Professor of Political Science and Pro Vice Chancellor of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Nottingham. He researches, teaches, and publishes on significant problems and methods associated with development, democracy and human rights.

His current focus is on measuring, analysing, and evaluating interventions to combat contemporary forms of slavery. Todd is Executive Director of the Rights Lab Beacon of Excellence and host of the Rights Track podcast series.

He has carried out a large number of international consultancies for:
