On 12 March 2026 the Chair of the House of Commons Science, Innovation and Technology Committee, Dame Chi Onwurah MP, wrote to Minister Vallance and Ian Chapman with a series of questions about the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) cost pressures.
This letter followed evidence given by STFC Executive Chair Michele Dougherty to the committee on 4 March 2026.
Their response to the committee has now been published on the committees web page.
