Details

Building on the government’s net zero strategy, this study presents the missing piece of the puzzle in accelerating net zero delivery and unlocking the social and economic benefits of climate action in UK city-regions.

The study presents novel research and data comparing the benefits available from a spectrum of ‘place-specific’ and ‘place-agnostic’ approaches, including how to design and deliver climate action most cost-effectively.

It makes a powerful economic case for local climate action and is designed to support the government in planning how place-based delivery could work.
