The four stages are:

  1. AHRC input: AHRC and partners will work together to identify and quantify economic and social benefits that can be realised via commercialisation
  2. Investment outputs: investments will pursue commercialisation to develop skills and sustainable and scalable solutions, increasing researcher satisfaction
  3. Benefits to citizens: investments will capture their outcomes and benefits to UK citizens, demonstrating where they have added value or efficiency to the economy and society.
  4. Sustained success: AHRC will evaluate the benefits and impacts from its investments, learn the lessons, and promote the success of research commercialisation.
