The report is the analysis of responses to the call for input UKRI ran on the new deal for postgraduate research in 2022.

The call for input was a response to a commitment in the government’s R&D People and Culture Strategy to develop a new deal for postgraduate research students, starting with a cross-sectoral consultation led by UKRI.

UKRI will respond to the report later in 2023.
