The MRC working group on embedding diversity in research design for research involving human participants, including human samples and data, met on 27 May 2022.
The group considered evidence from a review of international funder activities, a survey of the research community and an analysis of research grant proposals submitted to MRC and provided their recommendations for an MRC policy on diversity and inclusion in research design.
This report summarises the evidence considered, and recommendations developed.
