Working with our community since November 2021, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) has refreshed its strategy for health technologies.

Our new strategy provides a plan for how the engineering and physical sciences will enable a healthy society, building on UK long-standing strengths and unique capabilities in health technologies.

Since publication at the end of March 2023, we’ve held five strategy launch and engagement events to gather feedback on our strategy and input on short term and longer-term priorities.

These events took place in person across the UK between May and October 2023.

The engagement events took place in:

  • Cardiff (18 May)
  • Manchester (7 June)
  • London (27 July)
  • Edinburgh (7 September)
  • Belfast (4 October)

This report is a summary of the notes and outputs from all five events.
