EPSRC commissioned Technopolis to carry out an external review to demonstrate the impact and success of the Prosperity Partnerships programme. The programme is a multi-year research collaboration between leading UK universities and industry.

The report presents an impact evaluation of the Prosperity Partnerships programme based on data collected from September 2022 to mid-January 2023. The evaluation followed a theory-based approach and sought to identify and quantify the outcomes and impacts generated to date. It presented the evidence for outputs, outcomes and impacts across each of the following impact domains:

  • knowledge and skills
  • economic and productivity
  • collaboration and investments
  • policy
