The UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) budget allocations set out how we will invest to deliver our mission of advancing knowledge, improving lives and driving growth.
This budget allocation explainer reflects UKRI’s allocated budgets as confirmed following the Spending Review 2025. For each financial year, we publish our annual report and accounts which provides our yearly actual spend, budgets, delivery milestones, and achievements against our corporate plan.
As UKRI prepares to deliver its allocated budgets there may be a pause in some activity as UKRI works to implement the new model. UKRI will continue to support and advise the research and innovation community regarding opportunities.
