Details
This guidance explains what is considered a significant event and the process of reporting a significant event to Research England. The process covers:
- if there is a likelihood that you will be unable to fully utilise your QR funding in supporting research activity
- any discussion of potential exit from the Office for Students (OfS) regulated HE system with OfS
- any decision taken or formally proposed not to make any submissions to future Research Excellence Framework exercises
- changes in accounting officer
- proposed or possible, mergers, changes of institutional form or takeovers
