This update report outlines key activities and new commitments to address concerns about research reproducibility. The issues were raised at a 2016 symposium and highlighted in a joint symposium report by the Academy of Medical Sciences, the Biotechnology and
Biological Sciences Research Council, the Medical Research and the Wellcome Trust.

The update includes:

  • openness and transparency
  • research design
  • funding decisions
  • education and training
  • raising awareness.
