Support for bioinformatics is of strategic importance to Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the Medical Research Council (MRC). We provide a joined-up approach to research.

This joint statement provides guidance to researchers on where best to address bioinformatics applications.
