    Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute moved from list of public sector research establishments likely to be eligible but haven’t applied, to the list of public sector research establishments approved for standard eligibility.

    West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust added to list of NHS bodies approved for standard eligibility.
  • 13 August 2026
    Added Project Seagrass to the 'Independent research organisations' section.
  • 7 May 2026
    Updated the 'Overseas research organisations' section under 'Overseas organisations'.
  • 5 May 2026
    Institute for Employment Studies added under the independent research organisations list.
  • 1 May 2026
    Botanic Gardens Conservation International added under the independent research organisations list.
  • 10 March 2026
    Education Policy Institute added under the independent research organisations list and removed from both Catapult centres and public sector research establishments lists.
